“What Kind of Person Are You?”

The Bible teaches us that as long as we confess our sins we will be forgiven, but there are still people who aren’t’ quite sure of the word, who like to procrastinate, and have a hard time forgiving people.

Are you one of those people?

As a procrastinator we tend to put off things, that shouldn’t be put off and that could help other people as well.

Galatians 6:9 (NIV)
9 Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.

Colossians 4:5 (NIV)
5 Be wise in the way you act toward outsiders; make the most of every opportunity.

Being nice to people, and making the most of your time, things will come your way, and that’s because you didn’t sit around and procrastinate, you got up and did something.

What about forgiving?

Has someone hurt you? Made you mad, so mad, that you think that it’s unforgivable.

Matthew 6:15 (NIV)
15 But if you do not forgive others their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins.

Just like this verse says, Our Heavenly Father forgave us, so why can’t you forgive that person or person’s for what they did to you. It is never good to let something go on amongst friends, or family. It can make you sick and cause health problems.

Luke 6:37 (NIV)
Judging Others
37 “Do not judge, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn, and you will not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven.

AMEN

(Here is a poem I wrote called “People”, this is where I got my idea for this wks message)

“People”

What kind of person are you?

Are you a person, in a wheelchair who
needs Gods help.

Are you a person, who doesn’t believe in
God but should.

Are you a hard working person, who doesn’t
think you have time for God.

Whatever kind of person you are, you should
always make time for God.

Because He is in control.

This is out of my book called: God Is Speaking…Can You Hear Him.
