“You Fool!”

Matthew 5:22 (NIV) (Life Application Bible)

22 But I tell you that anyone who is angry with a brother or sister, and says “You fool!” will be in danger of the fire of hell.

(meaning is coming from my Life Application Bible)

Meaning – Anger keeps us from developing a spirit pleasing to God.  Have you ever been proud that you didn’t strike out and say what was really on your mind?  Self-control is good, but Christ wants us to practice thought-control as well.  Jesus said that we will beheld accountable even for our attitudes.

Psalms 119:105

Psalm 119:105 (NIV)
Your word is a lamp for my feet,
a light on my path.

Meaning – To walk safely in the woods at night we need a light so we don’t trip over tree roots or fall into holes. In this life, we walk through a dark forest of evil. But the Bible can be our light to show us the way ahead so we won’t stumble as we walk. It reveals the entangling roots of false values and philosophies. Study your Bible so you will be able to see your way clear enough to stay on the right path.

“God’s Works”

“God’s Works”

Ephesians 2:10 (NIV)
10 For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.

Each of us are God’s handiwork, so it doesn’t matter what you do as long as it is pleasing to God. Cause He knew in advance what you were going to do, before you even did it.

I never knew I was going to be a writer, but God knew. I am doing His good works by writing what the Holy Spirit speaks to me and passing it on to you.

Mark 5:19 (NIV)
19 Jesus did not let him, but said, “Go home to your own people and tell them how much the Lord has done for you, and how he has had mercy on you.”

If you don’t know what your calling is, that is ok. God will speak to you. Maybe its just to be a mother teaching your children about Jesus Christ, that is a job in itself. It took me a long time to find my calling but I did. An you will too, whatever it maybe.

John 14:12 (NIV)
12 Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father.

We all believe we can help spread the word like Jesus Christ, but there are many who don’t believe, that is why it so so important we do God’s works so they have a chance to believe.

Romans 15:17 (NIV)
17 Therefore I glory in Christ Jesus in my service to God.

I look forward to writing my messages every week for you to read. To me that is my service to God.

“God CANNOT Lie”

“God CANNOT Lie”

Hebrews 6:17-18 (NIV)
17 Because God wanted to make the unchanging nature of his purpose very clear to the heirs of what was promised, he confirmed it with an oath. 18 God did this so that, by two unchangeable things in which it is impossible for God to lie, we who have fled to take hold of the hope set before us may be greatly encouraged.

So you know by what this verse is saying, that God cannot lie, and everything He says in the bible is the truth. That can bring encouragement to anyone.

Numbers 23:19 (NIV)
19 God is not human, that he should lie,
not a human being, that he should change his mind.
Does he speak and then not act?
Does he promise and not fulfill?

When you pray and ask God for something, doesn’t he always answer yes, no, and not now. There is a reason why he has to say no, and not now, cause its not your time to have what you want. But God always provides for His Children.

1 John 1:10 (NIV)
10 If we claim we have not sinned, we make him out to be a liar and his word is not in us.

God cannot lie, so why would we lie about sinning. We want His word to always be in us.

Titus 1:1-2 (NIV)
1 Paul, a servant of God and an apostle of Jesus Christ to further the faith of God’s elect and their knowledge of the truth that leads to godliness— 2 in the hope of eternal life, which God, who does not lie, promised before the beginning of time.

An like Paul, we are servant’s of God, spreading the knowledge of Jesus Christ. We want people to know there is eternal life after death. All they have to do is believe and except Our Lord Jesus Christ as Our Savior.

“God’s Word”

Psalm 119:105 (ESV)
Your word is a lamp to my feet
and a light to my path.

In today’s world, there are so many ways to spread the God’s Word. You now have lots of different social media like facebook, and twitter.

Plus, when you need to look up God’s word, and you don’t have the Bible handy all you have to do is go on the internet. How easy is that.

James 1:22 (NIV)
22 Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says.

God’s word may be hard to take sometimes, but he know what is best for us, and even though the Bible was written a long time ago, there are newer versions to make it easier to understand and follow.

Matthew 7:24 (NIV)
The Wise and Foolish Builders
24 “Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock.

So lets all listen to God’s word, and put His word in to practice and share them with anyone who will listen. Lets be the one’s getting God’s Word out to people who don’t know Him.

Psalm 119:130 (NIV)
130 The unfolding of your words gives light;
it gives understanding to the simple.

You may not know that you are reaching someone, but even the kindest of words, can help.

John 15:7 (NIV)
7 If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.

So keep on spreading the God’s word for him, keep his words in you so when someone asks you’ll have the answer. This will make God very happy. An He will surprise you with something that you ask for. I don’t know when, cause God in not on a clock, but when the timing is right, you will know it.

“God’s Kingdom”

“God’s Kingdom”

Matthew 6:10-13 (ESV)
“Our Father in heaven,
hallowed be your name.
10 Your kingdom come,
your will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven.
11 Give us this day our daily bread,
12 and forgive us our debts,
as we also have forgiven our debtors.
13 And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.

This is a great way to start this message with the Lord’s prayer, cause it talks about your “Kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven.
Matthew 16:19 (ESV)
19 I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.”

Wow! Now I know you might be a little confuse by the last part. But, this is what that means.

In the syntax of the Greek text for Matthew 16:19, makes the meaning clear. What you bind on Earth , will have already been bound in Heaven. What you loose on Earth will already been loose in Heaven. In Other Words, Jesus in Heaven loosens the authority of His word as it goes forth on earth for the fulfillment of its purpose.

Matthew 5:10 (NIV)
10 Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

So don’t be afraid to get out there and speak up. You don’t want to lose you keys to your kingdom.

Acts 28:31 (ESV)
31 proclaiming the kingdom of God and teaching about the Lord Jesus Christ with all boldness and without hindrance.

(By definition a “hindrance” is generally anything that obstructs, stops, or retards progress, anything that blocks or inhabits us from receiving what is rightfully ours especially through the Word of God and by the Blood of Jesus.)

There are so many people out there who don’t know about the Lord Jesus Christ, and are willing to learn that is where we come in. So don’t hold back.

By going out and teaching people, it will give such peace, and joy in your heart, and make God so happy.

Romans 14:17 (ESV)
17 For the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking but of righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.

An at the end, the is a wonderful kingdom waiting for you. A kingdom where there is no more pain or suffering.

Revelation 21:1-4 (NIV)
A New Heaven and a New Earth
21 Then I saw “a new heaven and a new earth,” for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea. 2 I saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband. 3 And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Look! God’s dwelling place is now among the people, and he will dwell with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God. 4 ‘He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death’ or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.”

“Struggling with Addiction”

“Struggling with Addiction”

Struggling with any kind of addiction is hard to do.

There is lots of addictions out there. But, here is a few to name of…. alcohol, drugs, and even sex can be addictive.

Galatians 5:21 (NIV)
21 and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God.

These things are not good. They will bring the un-godly like you know who.. (The Devil).

1 Peter 5:8 (NIV)
8 Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.

Don’t let the devil devour you. You are stronger than that. You have Jesus on your side.

Romans 13:14 (NIV) 14 Rather, clothe yourselves with the Lord Jesus Christ, and do not think about how to gratify the desires of the flesh.

See you can be happy with the Lord Jesus Christ, you do not need desires of the flesh to make you happy. Don’t let your body tell you other wise.

James 1:12 (NIV)
12 Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him.

See you can stand up to the trail of any addiction, why? Cause you have the Lord Jesus Christ!
